The lists are entirely based on The Princeton Review’s survey of 130,000 students (about 343 per campus on average) attending the colleges.

Harvey Mudd Makes Daily Meal’s Best Food List

With menu items as diverse as Mongolian barbecue, rotisserie chicken, Brazilian barbecue made on a churrasco grill, Thai curries and noodle soups, Korean tacos, and pozole, it’s safe to say that college dining has evolved.

Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons at Harvey Mudd College offers these culinary selections—all made in-house from scratch—to Harvey Mudd students and to those from the other Claremont Colleges, who often line up early in anticipation. It’s no surprise then that Harvey Mudd made The Daily Meal’s third annual list of the best colleges for food. The College debuted at No. 46.

XOXO to Sodexo – For Taking a Stand for Millions of Hens

Today, with Sodexo, we are announcing that the giant food service company has committed, over the next five years, to switch all 20 million pounds of its liquid eggs to cage-free. The company manages dining operations at thousands of colleges, universities, hospitals, and corporate dining centers across the country. Due to its enormous size, this will remove 750,000 hens from battery cages per year and put them into cage-free settings. This announcement comes after prior announcements from the company to switch to cage-free for its 39 million shell eggs – which provides a better living for an additional 150,000 birds.
